Des Moines, Iowa - On April 4, 2001, a two-year joint investigation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF); Internal Revenue Service (IRS); Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement (DNE); and the Polk County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) concluded with the arrest of six individuals.

The below list of individuals are associates/members of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Organization:

Russell John Schoenauer, DOB 3-16-51 of Waukee, Iowa, was arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine and other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offense. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code, Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924 (c)(1).

Robert Norman, DOB 7-25-54 of Boone, Iowa, was arrested for Continuing Criminal Enterprise; Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine and Other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code Sections 848; 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Gary Lee Walker, DOB 6-3-50 of Red Oak, Iowa, was arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Cocaine and Other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Daniel Lee Burns, DOB 10-10-55 of Boone, Iowa, was arrested for conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Cocaine and Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Barry Craig Scarcello, DOB 12-15-57 of Boone, Iowa, was arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine and Other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Steven Lowell Henry, DOB 6-12-45 of Norwalk, Iowa, was arrested for Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Cocaine and other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violations of 21; 18 United States Code, Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Arrest warrants have been issued for the following individuals who have not yet been apprehended:

Pelayo Jose Cuervo, DOB 8-10-55, wanted for Conspiracy to Distribute of Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Cocaine and other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code, Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

William John Furlong, DOB 9-16-64, wanted for Conspiracy to Distribute of Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Cocaine and other Drug Trafficking and Firearms Offenses. Violation of 21; 18 United States Code, Sections 846; 841(a)(1); 924(c)(1).

Three federal search warrants were executed at 403 W. 15th Street, Boone Iowa; 1025 Carroll Street, Boone, Iowa; and 601 Bridge Street, Red Oak, Iowa.
