Corporate Volunteer Council

The Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) is an association of local organizations who promote employee volunteerism.

The CVC of Central New Mexico consists of workplace volunteer managers representing such businesses as:  Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico, Cardinal Health, Citi Cards, City of Albuquerque,  Enterprise Rent-A-Car, French Mortuary, Gap Inc., General Mills, Hyatt Regency, Intel Corporation, N.M. Business Weekly, N.M. Mutual, Public Service Company of New Mexico, Sandia National Labs, The Gap, United Way of Central New Mexico, and Verizon Wireless.  The CVC is a local chapter of a nationwide network.  It is a nonprofit organization of companies that strive to improve our communities and serves as a resource for organizations with employee volunteer program.  CVC members meet monthly with a focus on topics that will help us be successful in volunteer program management.  It is also a great way to network, share best practices and build recognition in the community as a good corporate citizen.

CVC members partner on various community projects throughout the year.  These projects include:  selling programs for the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the Balloon Fiesta, collection of school supplies for New Mexico students, and Make A Difference Day.
