Welcome!Welcome to the King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division web site! On June 1, 1999 the King County Mental Health Division merged with the King County Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Treatment Services. At the same time, we set about to update our web site to provide information that would assist the mental health and substance abuse communities to better learn and understand the systems of care and the services available through each program. On our expanded web site you will find a wide variety of information on crisis services, mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, childrens services, services targeted to mentally ill offenders, service providers, quality improvement efforts, and lists of available publications and reports on a number of subjects. Please also note the pages devoted to the activities of the King County Mental Health Advisory Board and the King County Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Administrative Board, citizen boards that provide a vital link between County government and the community. Meeting agendas and meeting minutes are available as well as applications and application information. Anyone interested in serving on either of these Boards is encouraged to explore those pages and consider applying and joining their efforts to improve and strengthen publicly funded services to the community. Thank you for your interest in the Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division. |
