Louisiana Health Care Redesign Collaborative (LHCRC)

Rebuilding the Louisiana health care system is a locally-led initiative. The Louisiana Health Care Redesign Collaborative was formed to bridge local government and private sector interests. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is playing a supporting and guiding role as the Collaborative builds a blueprint for a modern health care system.

Louisiana Health Care Redesign Collaborative Charter
On July 17, 2006, members of the State and Local community signed a charter committing to work together to develop and oversee the implementation of a blueprint for a sustainable quality health care system for Louisiana.

Declaration
On July 17, 2006, HHS Secretary Leavitt signed a declaration pledging to encourage, assist and support the Collaborative in its commitment to guiding principles of federal support.
