September 12, The Governor will meet with Puongpun Sananikone, the new chairman of the East-West Center (EWC), and Charles Morrison, EWC president.

September 13, September Governor Lingle will deliver remarks at the Hawai`i Teo Chew Chamber of Commerce dinner. 

September 13, The Governor will attend the annual Hawai`i Women's Legal Foundation Gala Fund-raiser.  Proceeds from the event will be awarded to entities that support the rights of women and children.
