RELATING TO HIGHWAY SAFETY
This bill would lower the minimum age to obtain a commercial driver’s license from 21 years of age to 18 years. This would allow drivers aged 18 through 20 to operate trucks and tractors between 10,000 and 26,100 gross vehicle weight and vans and buses carrying up to 15 passengers.
