ASC Launches Campaign to Educate Consumers About Important Medicaid Changes
After five years of voluntary enrollment into HIV Special Needs Plans for HIV-positive Medicaid recipients, plans are underway to implement mandatory managed care enrollment for all Medicaid recipients, including people living with HIV/AIDS. To help consumers meet the many challenges this change will bring, ASC is offering English/Spanish bilingual consumer education workshops on HIV managed care options. Partygoers mingled with celebrities during a fabulous evening at the summer’s sexiest fundraiser, Safer Sex In The City 2008, promoting safer sex in the age of AIDS. The event brought in over $80,000 in support of ASC’s state-of-the-art services. [read more]
