Annual Korean Festival in Baltimore, MD

09/22/07- Jeanette Watkins, Social Security Administration Public Affairs Specialist, and Anne Lee, a Social Security Administration Claims Representative from the Annapolis, Maryland field office, hosted an exhibit at the 30 th Annual Korean Festival in Baltimore, Maryland. The event was held at War Memorial Plaza. Over 5,000 people attended and many of the Korean speaking attendees expressed how pleased they were to see Social Security publications printed in Korean. Jeanette and Anne provided both English and Korean publications, side by side, that covered many Social Security programs and topics. The participants were encouraged to utilize the Multilanguage Gateway at Social Security Online to access additional information.
