| Take Our Children to Work Day
The Social Security Administration's (SSA) Philadelphia
Germantown District Office hosted the children of four employees
on "Take
Our Children to Work Day" on April 24. The children, between
the ages of 9 and 15, spent the day learning what their parents
do at the workplace. The objective of the day is to provide young
people exposure to the working world, provide information on career
skills and offer “hands on” experience through a shadowing
opportunity. "Take Our Children to Work Day" is our opportunity
to share with our children important information that could influence
their life choices.
