I want to use my last message this year to tell you about a unique opportunity.

On August 29, I will host the Annual International Women’s Leadership Conference.  This important event will bring together women leaders from Japan, Iraq, the Philippines, Hawai`i and the mainland. 

They will share personal stories of inspiration and success in their chosen fields, while illustrating how they make a difference in their community and globally.

This conference is about motivating Hawai`i women to achieve success, while improving the quality of life for all the people in our state.
