"Aloha! With the legislative session scheduled to end on May 1, many of the bills we have proposed are making their way through the legislative process.

Our Administration has worked closely with legislators to advance bills on key issues, including energy independence, affordable housing, an innovation economy and protection of our natural resources.

As these bills head to conference committee, now is a critical time to make your voice heard.

Call, e-mail, or visit your state legislators about how this important legislation can help improve the quality of life for all our residents, strengthen our economy and build a brighter future for Hawai`i.

To learn more about key initiatives, including bills signed, visit Governor Lingle's website hawaii.gov/gov, that's hawaii.gov/gov."
