GOV. RITTER STATEMENT ON BRUCE BENSON DECISION
Gov. Ritter issued the following statement tonight regarding the University of Colorado Board of Regents' appointment of Bruce Benson as the new CU President:
"Congratulations to Bruce Benson and the CU Regents on this important decision. We must all now focus on uniting around this appointment so we can move forward together in the best interests of the University and its students, faculty and alumni. I look forward to working with Bruce in his new role as we build upon the gains made under retiring President Hank Brown. There is much work ahead on the important issues of improving educational quality and keeping higher education accessible and affordable."
