We don’t want to develop areas with paved trails. Trails by their nature are dirt. We cannot continue to pave over america. It is fact that people with disabilities cannot safely go everywhere. A blind person can fall over a cliff with a “view”. A wheelchair simply does not go everywhere and we cannot make the wilderness suitable for wheelchairs.
I would like a copy of this whole document sent to me in paper form so that I can comment more fully. I like hiking and I like trails that are trails, not paved macadam. I think the maximum that should be spent on accommodation is half of one percent of a project. The number of those disabled are not that great and you take away from the able when you make everything into macadam.
