GOV. RITTER NAMES COLORADANS TO HIGHER-ED BOARDS
Gov. Bill Ritter today named a number of Coloradans to boards that oversee institutions of higher learning, including the Auraria Higher Education Center, Colorado School of Mines, Metropolitan State College of Denver and the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education.
Auraria Higher Education Center Board of Directors
Daniel R. Pabon of Denver to fill a vacancy left by the resignation of Jack Overstreet, for a term expiring July 13, 2008.
ColoradoSchoolof Mines Board of Trustees
Vicki J. Cowart of Denver and James R. Spaanstra of Lakewood, for terms effective Jan. 1 and expiring Dec. 31, 2011.
