RITTER TO JOIN OTHER GOVERNORS FOR ENERGY DISCUSSION IN WYOMING

 

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter will join three other governors in Wyoming on Thursday to discuss natural resource and energy issues, specifically carbon capture and sequestration.

 

Wyoming Gov. David Freudenthal is hosting the roundtable discussion at the Governor's Residence in Cheyenne. In addition to Freudenthal and Ritter, Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin will be participating.

 

On Friday, Gov. Ritter will be visiting Bent and Morgan counties, and on Sunday he will be delivering speeches to the Colorado District Attorneys Council and the 2007 Colorado Judicial Conference.

Thursday, Sept. 13

 

10 to 11:45 a.m.         Gov. Ritter appears on the Mike Rosen radio show (850-AM KOA).

 

3:30 p.m.                    Govs. Ritter, Freudenthal, Huntsman and Manchin will hold a news conference and media availability during a break in their daylong meeting.

Friday, Sept. 14

 

9:45 to 10:30 a.m.      Gov. Ritter will participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Twin Buttes Wind Power Project in Bent County, 31965 County Road C.

 

Noon to 1 p.m.           Gov. Ritter will deliver the luncheon keynote address to the Progress 15 annual conference. Comfort Inn, 1417 Barlow Road, Fort Morgan.

                                   

1:15 to 2:15 p.m.        Gov. Ritter will host a business and economic-development with northeast Colorado business leaders. Mavericks Restaurant, 1409 Barlow Road, Fort Morgan.

 

                                   

Sunday, Sept. 16

 

8:45 to 9:15 a.m.        Gov. Ritter will deliver the keynote address to the Colorado District Attorneys Council. Sheraton Steamboat Resort, 2200 Village Inn Court,

                                    Steamboat Springs.

 

6 to 8 p.m.                  Gov. Ritter will deliver the keynote address to the 2007 Colorado Judicial Conference. Lionshead Resort, 715 W. Lionshead Circle, Vail.
