GOV. RITTER NAMES REGIONAL AIR QUALITY COUNCIL APPOINTEES
Gov. Bill Ritter today announced 10 new appointments and re-appointments to the Regional Air Quality Council. The 14-member council is the lead agency for developing and implementing plans for the maintenance and enforcement of air quality standards in the Denver metro area. The council also conducts public education and advocacy programs.
The 10 appointees and re-appointees are:
Theresa Donahue of Denver (re-appointment)
Mark Johnson of Louisville (new)
Jana Milford of Boulder (new)
Nathan Rabinovitch of Denver (new)
Joan D. Ringel of Denver (new)
Nancy Severson of Denver (new)
Andrew L. Spielman of Denver (new)
Melanie Worley of Highlands Ranch (re-appointment)
Colorado Department of Transportation Executive Director Russell George (new)
Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Executive Director Jim Martin (new)
Terms are for three years and do not require Senate confirmation.
