Agenda Work Group
Meeting Minutes
April 26, 2001

1. Call to Order - 5:35 PM with conference call
2. Roll Call: Jeff Hill, Jack Hanley, LaFreta Dalton, Barbara Sonnenburg, James Lewis, Bill Murray, Bob Eklund, Kowetha Davidson
3. Subcommittee Agenda Items Considered and agreed upon.
4. More time should be allowed for Subcommittee business items and the fixed-time agenda items should be clearly distinguished from flexible-time items.

1. The "windshield tour" will be further pursued by Bill Murray, Al Brooks, et al. 11:00 AM 6/11 looking at an outside the fence tour preceding possible later specific targeted tours as needed.
   
2. Subcommittee action on the ATSDR Division of Health Assessment and Consultation (DHAC) tentative Program of Work will be scheduled immediately after the presentation topic.
   
3. Epidemiology 101 presentation will be scheduled by ATSDR.
   
4. Any Web Page actions will be scheduled as a part of the Commnications and Outreach Work Group (COWG) report.
   
5. Any Training actions will be scheduled as a part of the COWG report
   
6. There will be a facilitated discussion of Subcommittee member expectations leading to a clarified Mission Statement; appropriate public comment will be invited. (Time 1.5 hours total)
   
7. Lessons learned by the Health Needs Assessment Work Group (HNAWG) will be included in the WG report; allow 10-15 minutes.

5. Appropriate public comment will be allowed before final action on major items as determined by the chair subject to the wishes of the Subcommittee.
6. The following Program of Work Items were discussed:

1. When completed, the ATSDR DHAC Program of Work will be incorporated into the Subcommittee Program of Work and will be used to redraft the current draft milestone chart and recommendation log.
   
2. At this time after the format is determined, similar information will be sought on the Health Needs project.

7. ATSDR will incorporate the above into a Draft Agenda including all
   presentation items and routine agenda items. Work Groups which have not made a request for more time should be allowed 5-10 minutes.
8. Action Items: Windshield Tour - Bill Murray, Al Brooks, et al.
