California Air Stations Assist During Hurricane Ike
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A government vehicle, meals ready-to-eat and water are loaded into the cargo holding area of a C-130 Hercules aircraft, from Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento, to be transported to Air Station Houston to aid in Hurricane Ike response Sept. 14, 2008.  

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A government vehicle, meals ready-to-eat and water are loaded into the cargo holding area of a C-130 Hercules aircraft, from Coast Guard Air Station Sacramento, to be transported to Coast Guard Air Station Houston to aid in Hurricane Ike response Sept. 14, 2008.

C-130 Hercules aircrafts were deployed from Coast Guard Air Stations on the East and West Coasts of the U.S. into effected areas in the wake of Hurricane Ike, to transport large amounts of supplies safely and quickly. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Cmdr. Brian Lisko)
