This anaglyph, acquired by NASA's Phoenix Lander's Surface Stereo Imager
on Sol 36, the 36th Martian day of the mission (July 1, 2008), shows a
stereoscopic 3D view of a trench informally called "Snow White" dug by
Phoenix's Robotic Arm. Phoenix's solar panel is seen in the bottom right
corner of the image.
The Phoenix Mission is led by the University of Arizona, Tucson, on behalf
of NASA. Project management of the mission is by NASA's Jet Propulsion
Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. Spacecraft development is by Lockheed Martin
Space Systems, Denver.
