SUBJECT:    Notice - 2005 Adverse Effect Wage Rates, Allowable Charges for Agricultural and Logging Workers’ Meals, and Maximum Travel Subsistence Reimbursement

1. Purpose. To transmit a notice of the 2005 Adverse Effect Wage Rates (AEWRs) for employers seeking nonimmigrant alien (H-2A) workers for temporary or seasonal agricultural labor or services.

4. Background. Annually, the Employment and Training Administration publishes AEWRs to assist employers and other interested parties in completing H-2A labor certification applications.

5. Action. State Workforce Administrators are requested to share this Information Alert with appropriate staff and other agencies.
