REGARDING U.S. APPEALS COURT DECISION UPHOLDING STATUTE ON
CABLE TV OWNERSHIP LIMITS
I am pleased that the Court has validated laws that promote programming diversity and protect consumers against undue consolidation in the cable television marketplace.
The stay of the FCC's rules on cable horizontal ownership is now lifted.
