The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) requires that eligible providers of youth services must be identified through a competitive process. A new guide, WIA Youth Request For Proposal (RFP) Guide, is now available through the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Youth Services/Office of Youth Opportunities. The Guide is intended to help local areas and Youth Councils design and issue an RFP that assures that WIA funds will be used to support activities that promote youth development.
