Consumer Empowerment Workgroup - How To Participate
The general public is invited to "listen in" on these Consumer
Empowerment Workgroup discussions, and also to ask questions and provide
comments at the end of the meeting.

We STRONGLY SUGGEST that you test your system prior to the
day of the meeting. To do this, simply follow these instructions:

- Operating System: Windows 98 to present, Macintosh OSX, Linux.
- Browser: Java-enabled Internet Explorer (IE) 5.1+, Firefox* 1.0+,
Opera* 7.52+, Mozilla* 1.71+, and Netscape* 7.2+.
- To install the free Sun Microsystems Java software, go to: http://www.java.com (top
right corner)
(Select & download appropriate version for your system.)
- Macromedia Flash 6.0+.
- Hardware: 28.8 Kbps Internet access.
- Speakers or headphones and cable modem, DSL, ISDN, or equivalent
broadband needed to receive audio streaming (128K minimum).
