Eastern Region Recreation Resource Advisory Committee (RRAC)
The Eastern Region Recreation Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) is a citizen's advisory committee that makes recommendations on creating new or changing existing recreation fees managed by the Forest Service in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin.
The Eastern Region Recreation RAC is authorized under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act, which was signed into law in December, 2004. Advice and recommendations from the Eastern Region Recreation RAC is combined with other public notification and communication efforts to help the Forest Service make sound decisions regarding recreation fees.

Recreation RAC Membership
Forest Service established Recreation RACs, consist of 11 members who represent the following interests as indicated in REA. The Eastern Region Recreation RAC members are:

The Eastern Region Recreation RAC is a Federal Advisory Committee. All meetings are open to the public.
