GEM Technologies is focused on the neutron sciences, retrieval of special nuclear materials, facilities management support, engineering, environmental assessments, and regulatory oversight and construction. GEM has become one of the premier small disadvantaged businesses providing technical support to the U.S. Department of Energy, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Bechtel Jacobs, BWXT Y12, Knights Jacobs, and other government prime contractors. GEM’s diverse professional talent base comprises architects, engineers, construction specialist, security specialist information technologist, and a cadre of nuclear safety subject matter experts. Information International Associates, Inc.(IIa) is a woman-owned, small business headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN - now celebrating its 15th year of service to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Department of Energy, and many federal agencies. IIa has projects in 13 states and 3 countries. IIa has a world class reputation in scientific and technical information (STI) services, international policy and standards development, libraries, and intelligence work. The company provides a full range of Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) services for both classified and unclassified environments, as well as advanced information science services utilizing the latest developments and standards in the fields of knowledge management, electronic records, website design, and metadata structures. IIa has experience in strategic planning, technology road mapping, and R&D portfolio development for laboratory research and development programs as well as STI systems. A new division of the company includes Safeguards and Security Services. IIa services are available under GSA schedules for IT and MOBIS and they have an established DOE FOCI. Staff and personnel at IIa have active DOE Q and L clearances.
