  Q: Where is the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest?

The Chequamegon-Nicolet has issued a Prospectus soliciting applications for a concession Special Use Permit for Two Lakes Campground on the Washburn Ranger District.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, A REVISED FIREWOOD RESTRICTION ORDER issued by the Forest Supervisor continues to ban the possession, storage, or transport of any firewood that originates from outside the state of Wisconsin AND from south of Wisconsin State Highway 29. Read the News Release and Closure Order for more information.

ATTENTION USERS OF PERCH LAKE CAMPGROUND (Washburn RD) AND BOAT LANDING SITES IN THAT AREA! Access to this area has changed due to construction on the Delta-Drummond Road. Read the Reroute Information Page for an alternatate route.

Tribal Gathering Memorandum of Understanding: The Forest Service and 10 Chippewa Tribes of the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife commission entered into an agreement dealing primarily with the Tribes' treaty rights to gather wild plants on National Forest lands.
