Michael Carowitz, Chief of Staff and Associate Chief, joined the Enforcement Bureau in March 2005. He previously served as an attorney/advisor in the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau, Competition Policy Division. In the decade prior, Mr. Carowitz held a variety of legal and policy positions both in the telecommunications industry and at the Commission. He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. from the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan.
