"Visualization Summit" to be Held January 18-19 at NLM

There will be a "Visualization Summit" in the Lister Hill Auditorium of the National Library of Medicine on January 18 and 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Topics and demonstrations will include medical and 3D imaging, blood flow modeling using computational fluid dynamics, immersive technologies for collaborative visualization, and simulation using the University of Utah's SCIRUN. Seating is limited and registration is required. There is no fee. The summit is being arranged by SGI Federal, a private company.
