Education Office: Spencer Pasero, Education Program Leader

Spencer Pasero is an Education Program Leader at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. He is charged with the administration and development of a variety of Fermilab programs, including staff development programs for K-12 teachers, physics and physical science programs for K-12 students, and on-line education resources.

While earning a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.S. in the Teaching of Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Spencer worked for seven semesters as a teaching assistant in General Chemistry. He also worked as an evaluator for the Visualization in Chemistry (ChemViz) Project of the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), and as an undergraduate research assistant for the Merit Program for Emerging Scholars. After leaving UIUC, Spencer taught high school chemistry and physical science for two and one-half years before coming to Fermilab.
