Direct Payments to Indian Tribal Organizations

Because of the recent amendments to Title IV-B (P.L.96-272) permit the Secretary to make payments directly to Indian tribal organizations from Title IV-B funds, the final allotment to the States for FY '81 will indicate what amounts might be deducted from each State's allotment to directly fund the Indian tribes within the State.
