June 19, 2007 Federal Acquisition and Conference and Exposition (FACE) June 19-20, 2007.
FACE is the premier conference to train acquisition professionals. The 2007 FACE was titled, “Acquisition Frontiers: Blazing New Trails,” and offered an opportunity to earn 10.5 Continuous Learning Credits.
May 11, 2007 Biobased Program renamed to BioPreferredSM. Pages updated to reflect that change and URL updated to http://www.usda.gov/procurement/programs/biopreferred.htm.
May 11, 2007 Added new links to the Publication of Proposed Rule to incorporate BioPreferredSM into the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Executive Order 13423 — Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management and the BioPreferredSM Brochure.
Oct 25, 2006 The PCMS Release Notes have been updated to reflect the upcoming December 2006 release of PCMS FY06.2 Web Release.
Oct 05, 2006 AGAR Advisory 75, Brand Name or Equal Specifications, has been canceled based on the issuance of FAC 2005-13.

The List of USDA-Wide Contracts and Agreements (Intranet) which can be accessed from the Acquisition Toolkit at Ordering Products and Services page has been updated to add a new BPA which is available for use by USDA Service Center Agencies (See the BPA information for details on agencies included under the BPA).

The FPDS-NG Reporting - Frequently Asked Questions (Intranet) which can be accessed from the USDA Acquistion Toolkit Purchasing Tools page has been updated to add the status of FPDS-NG helpdesk calls/emails as of September 25, 2006.

The Biobased Products Biobased Items Page has been updated to add a link and information on the proposed rules, published in the Federal Register on August 17, 2006, to designate 20 new biobased items.

The FPDS-NG Reporting - Frequently Asked Questions (Intranet) which can be accessed from the USDA Acquistion Toolkit Purchasing Tools page has been updated to add the minutes of the USDA FPDS-NG End User Forum 7/27/06 Quarterly Meeting.

The List of USDA-Wide Contracts and Agreements (Intranet) which can be accessed from the Acquisition Toolkit at Ordering Products and Services page has been updated to add a new BPA.
The Purchase Card Management System (PCMS) Training Materials have been updated to reflect the PCMS FY05.2 Web Release.
The USDA Green Purchasing Affirmative Procurement Program has been added to the USDA Acquisition Toolkit Reference Tools.

AGAR Advisory 82, Requisite Language for Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Solicitation Descriptions When Designated Biobased Items are Included as Part of a USDA Contract Requirement, has been added to the AGAR Advisories Page. Information about AGAR Advisory 82 has also been added to the Biobased Products Procurement Tools Page.

The Biobased Products Procurement Tools Page has been revised to add the May 2006 version of the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P) awareness brochure.
