WASHINGTON, DC – The Air Transportation Stabilization Board (Board) announced today that it has denied the application of MEDjet International, Inc. for a Federal guarantee of $7.7 million on an $8.8 million loan pursuant to the Air Transportation Safety and System Stabilization Act (Act) and implementing regulations promulgated by the Office of Management and Budget (Regulations). The Board concluded its review based on the standards set out in the Act and the Regulations and determined that MEDjet’s application did not meet the applicable standards for the reasons described in the attached letter. The vote to deny the application was unanimous.
