This is an animation of a camera pushing through NASA's Phoenix Mars
Lander's Stereo Surface Imager (SSI). At the conclusion of the animation
is a set of SSI images of the telltale taken on the first, second, and
third days of the mission, or sols 1, 2, and 3 (May 26, 27, and 28, 2008). The last set of images were taken one minute apart and shows the telltale moving in the wind.
The Phoenix Mission is led by the University of Arizona, Tucson, on behalf
of NASA. Project management of the mission is by NASA's Jet Propulsion
Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif. Spacecraft development is by Lockheed Martin
Space Systems, Denver.
