Customer Service that Connects

The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) strives to provide customer service that is timely, accurate and helpful.

Customer Connection is our way of reaching out to the diverse group of people we license and serve:
  • The wide range of consumers who use services provided by our licensees in multiple health and related professions

  • The approximately 70,000 health and related professionals and businesses that represent active licenses the agency currently oversees

  • Our many and varied stakeholders, from the Oregon Legislature to consumer advocacy organizations to professional associations

Customer Service Standards
OHLA's Customer Service Standards provide agency staff with specific goals to keep in mind when assisting customers, whether it be in person, over the phone, via e-mail, during facility inspections, and during any other agency activity.

Customer Service Hotline
Phone

OHLA has established a customer service hotline to respond quickly to customer service concerns and comments. If our service isn’t up to your expectations (or it exceeds your expections), we want to hear from you.  Call OHLA’s Quality Assurance Unit at 503-373-2292 and we will work with you to resolve any issues.

Customer Connections: Feedback
"Please extend to all involved my deepest appreciation for the board's sterling example of governance that works right!  I am more than pleasantly surprised at how responsive the Board and OHLA has been to this request.  From a request to a regulatory outcome in less than three weeks is truly amazing. This position statement is a welcomed solution to our needs at this facility and for our profession as well.

Thank you again for your prompt, professional and effective service. Please all take a well deserved bow!”

Customer Connection Committee
The following volunteer citizen board and council members have agreed to serve on the Customer Connection Committee, a group formed to provide the OHLA central agency with feedback on its customer service efforts. Many thanks to our committee members for their work!
