MEDIA ADVISORY: Secretary Snow Holds Post-G7 Press Conference Tonight

U.S. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow will hold a post-G7 press conference at 8:15 pm on Friday, October 1, 2004. The press conference will be held at the Office of Thrift Supervision's auditorium, 1700 G Street, NW, Washington, DC.

The event is open to all media with IMF/World Bank Annual Meeting, White House, or U.S. Treasury Department press credentials.

All media equipment (cameras, tape recorders, etc.) must be set up for U.S. Secret Service security sweeps no later than 6:45 pm. Once the security sweep is completed, all swept equipment must stay in the room and no additional equipment can be brought in. All members of the media must be in the auditorium by 8:00 pm, when entrances will be locked down.
