The Frankfurt Book Fair continues to be the largest and most important tradeshow for books worldwide, with participants from 108 countries. With a history dating back 500 years to the Gutenberg Press, this fair is the world’s most important venue for publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, translators, authors and suppliers dealing with publishing rights, licenses and international property rights.

Frankfurt Book Fair 2007 attracted 283.293 visitors and 7.738 exhibitors. The United States represented nearly 10% of the total exhibitors and enjoyed high visibility as one of the largest non-German group in attendance. Frankfurt Book Fair will take place from October 15 – 19, 2008.
