HUSUM WindEnergy 2008

When the HUSUM WindEnergy trade fair opens its doors on September 9th 2008, an expected 18,000 visitors will come to the northern German coastal town of Husum – and for a few days their number will exceed that of the local population. On 22,000 square metres of exhibition area, 640 exhibitors will be displaying their newest and most innovative products. Our services for US Companies

The U.S. Commercial Service offes a wide range of support services for U.S. exhibitors and U.S. trade visitors at the USA Pavillion at HUSUM WindEnergy 2008.

The Exhibitor Support Program provides high-quality free-of-charge services that pro-actively complement your company's presence at the show. Those services include:

  • Focused email promotion of U.S. exhibitors to local wind industry contacts (free)  
  • Pre-registration of international trade visitors with U.S. exhibitors (free)
  • Market research on Germany and other target markets, distributor lists and logistics assistance (free)
  • Follow-up with leads after the show at your request (free)
  • Product listing on the German www.buyusa.gov website in order to generate additional leads ($40.00 fee)

The American Business Center (ABC): Being offered for the first time at HUSUM WindEnergy 2008, the ABC will provide U.S. companies a full-service forum to successfully work the show floor. This includes:

  • Bilingual assistant and on-site translation services
  • On-site scheduling assistance
  • Briefings, counseling, and advice on whom to approach at the fair 
  • On-site IPR information

2nd Conference on North American Wind Markets at Husum on September 10 

The American and Canadian Wind Associations (AWEA and CANWEA), the German-canadian camber of Commerce, the VDMA, Chadbourke & Park LLP, and GADORE (German-American Dialog on Renewable Energy) are hosting a conference followed by a reception at Husum WindEnergy. The hands-on conference features presentation and ample room for Q & A with renowned experts from the industry.
