Message to Oregon Educators Benefit Board (OEBB) Interested Parties:
 
Following is notice of the OEBB Board meetings for October 2008. All meeting dates, times, agenda items and locations are subject to change.

The Oregon Educators Benefit Board’s (OEBB) Optional Benefits Workgroup will convene an executive session* on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the PEBB/OEBB Boardroom at 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, Oregon to review information from its legal counsel.  All meeting dates, times, and locations are subject to change.
 
 
Wednesday, October 1, 2008 – 2:45 to 4 p.m. -- PEBB/OEBB Boardroom, Department of Administrative Services, 1225 Ferry Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.  The OEBB Administrative Workgroup will be conducting a public meeting to discuss and review information on the budget, open enrollment, payment process, draft appeal process and draft continuation of coverage rules.

Parking at the Dept. of Administrative Services:
Limited metered parking is available on Ferry Street, nearby streets and in the surface lot at the corner of Ferry and 13th streets. Full- and half-day permits ($3 or $6) are available for the rooftop only of the Ferry St. parking structure.  Permits can be purchased at the Parking Office, 1225 Ferry St SE, 1st floor. The parking structure is located directly across the street from the meeting location.

*Executive Session: No admittance unless stated below. Thank you.
The Oregon Educators Benefit Board’s (OEBB) Optional Benefits Workgroup is meeting in executive session from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, for the purpose of reviewing information with its legal counsel. The executive session is being held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(f) which allows a governing body to hold an executive session to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection.
Representatives of the news media, OEBB staff and individuals specifically invited to participate are allowed to attend this executive session. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No decision may be made in executive session.
