Registrants must complete 80 clock hours of continuing education coinciding with the Board of Certification's three-year reporting period.
The three-year period is independent of the date of first registration, with the initial reporting period commencing January 1, 2000, and ending December 31, 2002. Subsequent reporting periods begin January 1 and end December 31, in three-year increments.
The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) is currently looking to align the continuing education reporting period with new two-year registration that becomes effective October 1, 2008. Practitioners will be notified of any changes to the current three-year reporting period.
