Road Closure on Gilmerton Bridge
The Gilmerton Bridge will be closed for bridge repairs on scheduled weekends between Friday September 12, 2008, and Monday, October 6, 2008.
Work will take place from 8:00 p.m. Friday evening to 5:00 a.m. Monday morning.

The City is holding a series of open house Community Input Meetings to give citizens the opportunity to provide input on the City's spending priorities.
YOUR COMMENTS, CONCERNS & IDEAS ARE NEEDED and will be provided to the
City Council for consideration as this year's budget is developed.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, 9/24/08 at 6:30 p.m. at Major Hillard Library.

Comment Period runs through September 27th
If you missed the Open Forum Public Hearing on September 17, 2008, you can still view the information pertaining to the proposed bridge and roadway improvements along the Dominion Boulevard corridor, from Oak Grove Connector (Route 168) to U. S. Route 17 and provide comments through Saturday, 9/27.
