Oil Spills: A Guided Tour

2 - OR&R's Role

The U.S. Coast Guard oversees all responses to oil spills and chemical accidents in U.S. navigable waters. OR&R's role is to provide scientific support to the Coast Guard officers who are in charge of response operations.
