President Bush's Economic Team to Hold "America Works" Economic Roundtable in Chicago

Chicago, IL - U.S. Secretary of Commerce Don Evans and two of President George W. Bush's chief economic advisors, Dr. Lawrence Lindsey and Dr. Glenn Hubbard, will host an "America Works" economic roundtable on Monday, Nov. 19, 2001 in Chicago, Ill. at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

The "America Works" roundtable will involve consumers, workers, small-business owners, CEOs including Alan Lacy of Sears, Roebuck and Co., and economists including Dr. Edward Snyder, Dean of the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. The roundtable will examine the retail sales and consumer products outlook, just before the traditional start of the holiday shopping season.
