Memories of 9/11
The dedication of the Pentagon Memorial for those who lost their lives there on September 11, 2001, was seven years to the day after that event. It showed the resolve that America has to always remember that day and to always remember those who perished in a terrorist attack. The clean lines of the 184 benches, each dedicated to an individual who lost their life from that event, and the open grounds with newly planted trees will always be reminders of their innocence and ours. It is important that we always remember them.
