SBA Expo ‘04:Happenings and Highlights

SBA Expo ’04 was the last component of a year long celebration of the SBA’s 50 th Anniversary, following the National Entrepreneurial Conference and Expo (NECE) in September 2003 and an 11 city Listening and Growth Tour. SBA Expo ’04 began on Tuesday May 19, 2004 with the Youth Entrepreneur Program and concluded with the Hall of Fame Gala on Friday, May 21, 2004 . The events, sessions, networking opportunities and celebrations over those four days were numerous, as was the number of small businesses participating along with those organizations and individuals that contribute to small business success.

Attendees:

More than 3,000 individuals participated in and attended conference events representing small businesses, corporate sponsors, trade organizations and resource partners.

Exhibitors:

The expo floor filled with over 300 Exhibitors allowed small businesses to show off their products and services while also learning from and networking other small business and large business exhibitors.

The expo floor stage provided educational and training opportunities to all participants. Stage participants were entrepreneurs, corporate representatives and government officials.
