Section D - Chlorinated Solvents in Ground Water at Picatinny Arsenal,
New Jersey
Section D is on the biodegradation and transport of chlorinated solvents,
such as trichloroethylene (TCE), in ground water at Picatinny Arsenal, New
Jersey. The papers describe the desorption of TCE from aquifer sediments,
the microbial degradation and transport of TCE in ground water, the volatilization
and transport of TCE in the unsaturated zone, and the surfactant-enhanced
remediation of ground water contaminated with TCE.
