Marine Reservists Injured During Drill or AT

When a Marine Reservist gets injured in the line of duty while on inactive duty or active duty orders for a period of 30 days or less, he/she may apply for medical care and incapacitation pay.  This authorization for medical care and incapacitation pay is called a Notice of Eligibility (NOE). Once an NOE is approved by HQMC, an injured Marine Reservist is eligible to receive medical care for that specific injury until he/she is returned to duty or separated from the service through the Disability Evaluation System (DES).The guidelines for requesting and managing NOE benefits are outlined in MCO 1770.2A and additional updated information will be posted to this web page periodically to assist you in the preparation of your requests. Refer to reference NOE Info document attached on the right.
