The 15th annual MSPO International Defense Industry Exhibition, the major event in the defense sector in Central and Eastern Europe will be held September 3-6, 2007 in Kielce, POLAND. Participation in the MSPO trade show and accompanying conferences and seminars is an effective venue for promotion in Poland and neighboring markets including Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Ukraine, and the Baltics. MSPO 2006 was a major success, attracting 346 exhibitors from 25 countries and over 12,460 attendees from 54 nations.
MSPO 2007 should be larger and will feature the U.S. as the Lead Nation complete with an American pavilion and profile-raising activities led by senior delegations from the U.S. Commerce and Defense Departments.
Poland is the sixth largest country in the EU with a population of nearly 38 million people. Its 1,100-kilometer eastern border is now the longest external border in the European Union and it requires extensive improvements. Poland also has the largest Armed Forces of the new NATO nations.
