Nip

nip-withnametagGood day to you all. My name is Nip, and I am a yellow Lab. I work at the best place in the world: the CIA!

I was born on June 7, 2006. I started out at the Seeing Eye Foundation, which is great because I really liked the idea of helping people.

Since I have a great sense of smell, I became an Explosive Detection K-9. It’s a good fit for me because I really want to protect our wonderful country and the people that live in it. I trained at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). They trained me to recognize 19,000 different scents.

During my training, I met my human partner and best friend, K-9 Officer Billy. Officer Billy and I like to play all the time. I get to run, swim, and play with toys. But, the best part of all is playing with my family.

I really love my job here at the CIA. I’m proud of what I do, and I have a lot of fun doing it.
