Clinical geneticist and attorney Phillip Reilly, M.D., J.D., is executive director of the Shriver Center for Mental Retardation in Waltham, Massachusetts. He also serves on the board of directors of the American Society of Human Genetics. With his colleagues Dorothy Wertz and Robin J.R. Blatt, Reilly writes and edits The Gene Letter, a DOE-supported electronic newsletter about genetics and public policy. Six issues of the newsletter, published since July 1996, are now on the Web.
