The Frankfurt Book Fair continues to be the largest and most important tradeshow for books, with participants from 108 countries. This fair is the world's most important venue for publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, translators, authors and suppliers dealing with publishing and international property rights as well as licenses. The Frankfurt Book Fair 2007 attracted 283.293 visitors and 7.738 exhibitors; the United States represented nearly 10% of the total number of exhibitors.

AEP Educational Publishing Pavillion

A partnership between the Book Fair and the Association of Educational Publishing (AEP), the EEP is a fair within the fair designed specifically to facilitate international relationships for developers of educational content. In its inaugural year 2007, the venue was conveniently situated in the heart of  the fairgrounds at the Frankfurt Book Fair, affording its exhibitors exposure to a huge amount of book fair traffic.
